This moist yellow cake has just a hint of brown sugar to give it that faint caramel flavor found in your favorite chocolate chip cookie. Add 2 tablespoons of chopped pecans if you want a little added crunch.

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

3 tablespoons brown sugar

3 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 egg

¼ cup milk

½ cup self-rising flour

Pinch salt

¼ cup mini chocolate chips
